Anastrozole is an aromatase inhibitor, meaning it blocks the enzyme responsible for converting testosterone into estrogen. Less aromatase activity means less estrogen circulating in the body. This helps prevent estrogen-related side effects that can come with anabolic steroid use.
Within a few days of starting anastrozole, estrogen levels begin to drop noticeably. You should see less bloating and reduced water retention fairly quickly. It won't build muscle on its own, but it keeps your cycle running cleaner and more comfortably.
Most users start at 0.5mg every other day and adjust based on how they feel and their bloodwork results. It's typically run alongside aromatising compounds like testosterone throughout the cycle. Crashing estrogen too low is a real risk, so blood tests are strongly recommended to dial in the right dose.
Keep at room temperature (15–25°C), away from light and moisture. Leave in the original packaging.
