How Does It Work?

Proviron binds to receptors in your body that oestrogen — the female sex hormone — would normally attach to, helping to block some of its effects. It also binds to a protein in the blood called SHBG (sex hormone-binding globulin), which normally grabs onto testosterone and makes it inactive. By freeing up that testosterone, more of it is available for your body to actually use.
